The EFAW, Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course is a 1 day (6 Hours) program, meeting the HSE requirements for EFAW. The EFAW course covers Primary care for a patient as well as an overview of some common secondary care skills. The 1 Day EFAW meets the requirements of the HSE First Aid at Work Regulations for lower risk working environments.
1 Day EFAW Course, meeting HSE requirements, from as little as £75 per person!
This 1 day course, introduced by the HSE in October 2009, is the only Recognised First Aid course available other than the 3 day FAW, meeting the requirements of the HSE. The EFAW course covers the HSE requirement for training if your company is low risk and yet requires more than an untrained appointed person to meet the requirements of the First Aid in the workplace regulations 1981. The course offers a real and regulated alternative to the unregulated and non approved appointed persons training.
As a training centre approved by Qualsafe Awards the work related courses that we offer are Ofqual Regulated Qualifications meaning that the Certificate issued carries the Ofqual Logo and recognition. All course fees include a full printed training manual for each student to retain for future reference.
If you operate a larger business then perhaps the 3 day FAW course is more suitable for your needs under the HSE requirements, click here
