As with all TEAM courses the program follows the latest International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) and European Resuscitation Council (ERC) Standards on basic life support and patient care. The skills are taught following the same priorities of care and terminology as Paramedics and Emergency Medicine Doctors use, thus enabling consistency of patient care.
The FAW course is taught using state of the art training materials and student manuals with DVD and video support. The comprehensive manuals are kept by the students for future reference enabling skills to be kept up to date, and enhancing the continuous training requirements for staff. The course can be run over 3 full days either continuously or broken into weekly sessions, or as a part time evening course. The sessions are run either at our premises in Teignmouth or onsite if required, and include a full assessment carried out by 2 of T.E.A.M’s experienced Assessors.
Upon successful completion all students will receive a certificate which is valid for a further 3 years, and carries the Ofqual Logo verifying the Course is an Oqual Regulated Qualificaton.
