Under the Health and Safety, HSE (First Aid) Regulations 1981 UK employers have an obligation to make adequate and appropriate first aid provision for their employees. The Health and Safety Executive recommend that someone is able to undertake first aid duties at all times when people are at work. The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) currently list Two Courses, the Three day First Aid At Work course (FAW) and the One day Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) that meet their requirements for the HSE First Aid at Work Regulations. At TEAM we are able to offer both the FAW and EFAW to help your company or business meet its First Aid Requirements under the HSE First Aid in the Workplace Regulations.
However a range of courses also meet the requirments of the Appointed Persons in the workplace, a guideline from the 1981 First Aid regulations. TEAM is a training facility able to deliver the full 3 day FAW course, the 1 day EFAW as well as offering a range of programs that meet the Appointed Persons in the Workplace requirements.
The variety of requirements and courses can make the process of deciding what training to undertake or send your staff on difficult, at TEAM we are able to assist you with this process and offer guidance on the numbers and skill levels required of your First Aiders!
